Al Bsharah is the Managing Partner and Founder of Interlock Capital, a community of 1200+ investors who are entrepreneurs, founders, and operators. They do far more than just write checks, they help solve real problems.

Al made his first “life-pivot” in 1998 when he moved from the Detroit auto industry (electrical engineer + developer) to being the 2nd employee and equity owner at a San Diego startup which was later acquired. This was the beginning of his 2+ decade entrepreneurial journey where he’s been a founder and entrepreneur with successes AND failures along the way. He’s raised capital from VCs and angels and been on both sides of acquisition. He’s a Techstars graduate + has been a mentor for over a decade.

His sweet spots are product, operations, automations, no-code, fundraising, and story-telling. His off-time is spent with a loving wife, a son, a dog, a camper, a beach volleyball addiction, and a constant stream of startups that keep him (in)sane!
