Professional Experience
Abhishek is an experienced investor and serves as the Managing Director of Prosperity 7 Ventures in the US. Prosperity 7 is a diversification fund backed by Saudi Aramco with $5B AUH. His areas of investment interest include AI, Infrastructure., Silicon ,Networking, Storage, Data Infrastructure, IoT, Cybersecurity, Edge to Cloud computing, and frontier technologies such as Quantum Computing.
Prior to Prosperity 7, Abhishek was the Sr. Managing director at Hewlett Packard Pathfinder (Venture arm of HPE). He came to HPE from GE Ventures where he was the Managing Director/Co-Head of Software Investments. He came to GE Ventures from Cisco’s Corp Dev and Investments team, where he led Investments and M&A for Cybersecurity and Cloud services/solutions portfolio. During his earlier career, he was a product manager at Agilent and held multiple leadership positions in Venture investing, M&A, Strategy, and Sales at Agilent, Sony, and SAP.
Abhishek is a prolific Enterprise investor and serves (or has served) on numerous boards during his tenures at Prosperity 7, HPE Pathfinder, GE Ventures, and Cisco Investments, including Arrcus, Cohere, Singlestore, Cequence , BigID, SingleStore, DataRobot, Dragos, Unqork, etc.
Abhishek received his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communications from the Delhi College of Engineering, India.
Outside of work, Abhishek is an adventure sport enthusiast and a certified scuba diver who has taken multiple dives with great white sharks.
